Overview
This attractively produced and informative booklet traces the history of the Law Society's Hall from its initial conception in 1823 as a "London Law Institution" through its design by Lewis Vullliamy, eventual opening on 31 May 1832 and all subsequent extensions and modifications up to 1995.
The text is illustrated throughout with a range of black and white and colour drawings and photographs showing details of the building itself and its decorative features as well as extracts from the original plans.
