Conveyancing Checklists
2nd edition

Frances Silverman and Russell Hewitson

Overview

Refining conveyancing procedures can save valuable time and money and so contribute towards a profitable practice. Using checklists is a reliable method of ensuring that all the necessary steps in a transaction have been successfully fulfilled, in order, and to deadline.

Conveyancing Checklists provides a comprehensive range of checklists that follow the steps of a transaction. All of the checklists are reproduced on an accompanying FREE CD-ROM so they can be adapted to suit your practice and case management system.

This updated edition takes account of:

  • the introduction of Home Information Packs, Energy Performance Certificates, and Sustainability Certificates
  • changes to the Solicitors' Code of Conduct 2007
  • lasting powers of attorney
  • customer due diligence under the Law Society's Anti Money Laundering guidance.
