About the Authors
Frances Silverman is a solicitor and formerly a Reader at the College of Law. She sits as a part-time Chairman of the Employment Tribunal and of the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal, and acts as an expert witness. She is also General Editor of the Conveyancing Handbook, 16th Edition (2009, Law Society).
Russell Hewitson is a solicitor and principal lecturer in Law at Northumbria University and a Consultant to Blackett Hart & Pratt LLP, Newcastle upon Tyne. He is author of Licensing Law Handbook (2005, Law Society Publishing), general editor of Precedents for the Conveyancer and has written and lectured widely on property law and licensing law.
