About the Authors
Penny Owston is the managing partner at Martin & Haigh in Scunthorpe and a director Brightwater Consulting & Development Ltd. She is a member of the Law Society Children Panel, the Family Panel and also a Higher Court Advocate. She is a Law Society Council member and a member of the Standards Board. Penny also works as a management consultant and trainer for law firms.
Simon McCall is a director of Brightwater Consulting & Development Ltd and does management consulting, training, facilitation and coaching work with professional service firms and particularly law firms. After practising for 10 years as a solicitor he moved into consulting in 1990. Simon is also a member of the faculty on the Nottingham Law School MBA in Legal Practice.
