TA1 Home Information Pack Index

Overview
Form TA1 presents the user with simple text boxes and tick boxes to enter the information which must be included in a Home Information Pack Index. This information is prescribed by Schedule 1 of the HIP Regulations. The Law Society has designed its own version of the Index in the style of the TransAction forms for use in Law Society Home Information Packs.
In addition to presenting space for 'required' information, the Law Society's version of the Home Information Pack Index also provides space to enter some 'authorised' information, such as the date each document was created and a reference number to show where in the Pack a document is located.
The second edition of this form has been revised to reflect amendments to the Home Information Pack regulations since July 2007. These changes include the:
- reduction of 'required' information for leasehold property
- introduction of sustainability information for marketing new homes
- introduction of PIQs
- order in which documents must appear in a Pack.
